When coworkers Dave heart and Chris Gross set out to fulfill their entrepreneurial dream back in 1999, little did they know they would outgrow many spaces in the span of 20 years because of meteoric growth.

They quickly learned the value of having a space that is both adaptable and modern while also being palatable for a broad array of talent disciplines. Part of their efforts to position themselves well as an innovative leader in the geographical information systems (GIS) and geography-based applications market came down to having a space that demonstrates capabilities and growth.

To meet the demands of a diverse and growing list of clients in many market sectors, Continental Mapping elected to work with Lerdahl Inspired Workplace Interiors. To meet the demands of a world and marketplace that is ever-evolving, Continental Mapping needed a partner with similar values and a grasp of their aspirations.

From now on, Continental Mapping will have a space that meets the needs of the moment in an ever-changing market.

Inspired Results

Lerdahl’s team of designers and consultants dug deep into what Continental Mapping was all about. Lerdahl got to the root of the business Dave and Chris started and how it evolved to be recognized as one of the fastest-growing businesses in the United States.

After discovering Continental Mapping’s story, the Lerdahl team met with Continental Mapping’s leadership to define what their new space needed to be. The resulting design phase led to 93 state-of-the-art workstations in their central production lab, 21 specialized workstations in a critical project lab, photogrammetry workstations, management workstations, landing desks, meeting spaces, IT offices, a reception area, a cafe, and more.
