The Challenge
This project’s end-user has seen significant growth over recent years as their partner, Culvers Restaurants, has become the fastest-growing fast-food burger chain in the US. To manage their growth and position themselves to acquire top talent in a competitive job market, S&L Companies engaged Lerdahl to grill up some fresh ideas for their space needs.
“They needed a cool space, so we were able to get creative, present ideas, and spend a fair amount of time on the discovery,” said Kris Lerdahl-Foust, Lerdahl’s DIRTT lead on the project.
The Solution
One of Lerdahl’s six core values is fun, and this project hit a ten on the fun scale.
S&L bleeds Culver’s blue. Meaning, they are a very proud partner of Culver’s, and everything about their brand says they build and operate successful Culver’s franchises. Their mission and founding principles are hospitality, quality, freshness, and service to the community.
The inspired results that became S & L’s new home live up to their brand and then some.
This blended project featured a mix of Kimball furniture offerings and DIRTT modular interior construction.
